Marie Bennett owns and manages The Girl Friday Company which has been successfully trading for the last 14 years.
Marie possesses excellent organisational skills and has over 25 years experience working as a Project Co-ordinator and Account Manager, with a wealth of business knowledge of the private and public sectors.
As a medical secretary at the Christie Hospital in Manchester for many years, Marie provided administrative support to a team of consultant doctors at the hospital.
Following this she developed a career in Marketing working in key roles in an advertising agency and then a public relations company. Her skills developed considerably during this time and Marie became client facing with roles involving research, budgeting, writing editorial copy, co-ordination of hospitality events, press launches, compiling newsletters and the production of print projects.
Marie's career has also taken her into Project Management consultancy where she was responsible for Marketing and Sales activity, driving sales and pro-actively developing new business. Her role involved extensive liaison with customers, suppliers, contractors and partner organisations.
Her business activities with The Girl Friday Company include working on key contracts with clients such as a well known International Development Organisation, Telecommunications Companies, blue chip international organisations, Government Agencies and the Education sector.
